Is emuparadise.org Safe?

Great site with lots of roms. All i have downloaded have been clean (scanned with avast free 6 and malwarebytes free). roms are not illegal if you own the original games. Cant comment on ads/popups as i use ad blocker plus(HIGHLY recommended addon). roms i downloaded (game cube) seem to be double compressed. .rar file with a bunch of .rar parts of the file inside. Just highlight all the .rar parts at the same time and right click and extract them, and it will turn into 1 file, and the game works fine. (i use winrar)

the website provides downloads for old console games. downloading is not illegal in some other countries as long as the original game console and the game for the console is already owned (bought). also, the webmaster ensures that the site is 100% malware free. should there be a malware from clicking ads in the website, it should be reported to the website so they can remove it. overall, a very good site whose goal is to keep one's childhood memories.

Clicked download for a ROM and got Whitesmoke Writer instead. Software I'd consider Malware since it never uninstalls cleanly, and often "just so happens" to be installed on many computers infected by the Rogue.Antispyware System Tool.

A lot of the downloads will have spyware attached, but regardless, it is a good site for roms as long as you scan before running. Most of the time, you can disinfect the files.

I see way too many bad ratings for a site this good. I have downloaded endless amounts of content from this site quickly, effortlessly, and with NO problems. Sure, I come across the random bad file, but I just report it and try again. This site is awesome. Sure, it MIGHT be seen as illegal by the moderately educated, but in fact, it's not, nor should it be. Sharing is a citizen's right, and if you don't think so, then NEVER let a friend borrow your movies, or games, or anything else for that matter. Make them buy it. See? Not so illegal to you now, is it? Especially for games that are REALLY hard to get a hold of.
