I am no expert, but I have flashed DD-WRT on a WRT54gl, so setting up a ap/bridge/repeater is nothing new to me. The product I received is defective, but things happen. So I tried to contact Encore to verify that the product is defective. Here is the deal breaker. I called the number for support on the card in the package - ***** - no answer. Ok, so an old number. Tried to find a phone number on their web page - guess what? Page not found. (USA local) http://www.encore-usa.com/us/international-support-hotlines RMA (and will avoid any product from Encore).

Manufacturer/marketer of networking equipment such as wireless routers, wireless USB adapters, etc. Mid-range quality. Easy to use interface. Customer service is lacking however.
