Is essentialoil.com Safe?

This is a somewhat fishy but overall OK website by my experience. I recently ordered an essential oil distiller from them. They later emailed me that it was out of stock. This was a large turn-off as their site had said nothing of the sort. I contacted them by phone and they where decently nice and said that it would take around six weeks to return my money due to the fact that I had recently had my credit card number changed due to theft. I am a little suspicious of this... My main problem however, was the lack of up-to-date in stock/out of stock notification on the website. This is very important for any legitimate online business.

"lisa manson" left this negative review many years ago on other sites. It is clearly spam. "lisa" must work for one of our competitors. The negative comments are exact copies, complete with misspellings. ""Lisa Manson" left this negative review on Alexa concerning our website. I believe she works for a competitor. Is is exactly the same review she posted on "WOT" " Absolute Bad experience Legacy Review Customer Service is not existant. rude and mean on the phone. I would never do business with this company. This is unfair and "her" comments should be removed. ---------------------------------------------- I am the owner of this website. We have been in business since 1977. We have been trading online since 1996. We have customers in almost every nation. I don't understand why our site is rated so low. There is one negative review, however this person has spammed our site for several years now posting the same text verbatim. We have successfully managed to remove most of those negative comments. i was shocked to find the same thing here.
