Is etymonline.com Safe?

An excellent source for discovering the etymological roots of most words in the English language, EtymOnline has thus far been the best and easiest to use service at finding out the etymologies of various terms. I use this website frequently, since word etymologies interest me greatly, and I have not once been disappointed. Everything is well-documented and thorough, not to mention easy to read. I highly recommend this website and completely trust it.

From the site: Carl Sandburg writes that Abe Lincoln, in his law office in Springfield, kept an envelope marked, "If you can't find it anywhere else, look here." Good description of what you'll find. The site gets "Excellent" in all cats except Child Safety where it gets a "Good" from me. Why? Well if the pen is mightier than the sword, then placing swords in the hands of children... No published Privacy Policy, but definitions on the site show the owner understands the concept (there is even a definition of facebook).
