The material on this site relates to national security issues that can be both complex (e.g. strategy) and disturbing (e.g. torture). Parents may initially wish to supervise visits here to ensure that a child is able to understand the context of the material.

This is the site for official reports to Congress & the public on matters of defense, nuclear matters, and science.

This site has lots of valuable and hard-to-find documents. If you are looking for Congressional Research Service reports on national security topics, for example, the best and most current collection on the web is at fas.org. Ditto for JASON scientific advisory panel reports. And on and on. An amazing resource.
