Before doing anything people should run a protected browser and then read their policies in detail. Then it might be advised to make test run with a disposable email address and see what they do.

Offers student loans. Displays a fake TRUSTe seal. I see no Symantec trust seal. Do not provide any financial or personal data.

This website has sold my personal information to WordSmart who barrages me with phone calls 5 times a day and won't stop despite me complaining to them several times. Don't trust these people with your info.

This is a great site for finding scholarships. However, it is paid for by advertisements, so if you do not want spam, don't sign up for it. Just click the next page or skip this step button.

I use this site a lot to get scholarship information. Believe me, this site is VERY helpful. The only negative that I can find about this website is that there are a lot of ads, BUT the ads are for legitimate things (i.e. joining the U.S. Army, being a member of Amnesty International). It's all good for me.
