Is firefall.com Safe?

I paid cash for virtual items and they wiped them out so I would have to buy them again under the "new" for real this time release version of the game. If they refunded my money it would have been one thing. This is nothing new. Red5 studios seems to have a poor reputation because they have repeatedly changed the game, wiping out peoples assets. The game had been in Beta for years.The copyright is dated 2006. The problem is that a portion of Red Bean purchases were made were made with real cash not in game bonuses. Then the studio wipes the slate clean and your virtual items paid for with with your money are gone. Other than that the game is badly broken right now after the latest "release" patch. Major features that ran perfectly are completely FUBAR. It used to be fun, now I feel ripped off. I don't even want to be bothered to log in again even though I still have a balance of red bean money I paid into the game.. I say this in the hope that nobody else spends their money on this "FREE TO PLAY" game. You do not know when Red 5 studios, the developers will pull the rug out from underneath you. The items of value that were taken away from me are still in the game. You merely have to pay 300 Red Beans to buy them AGAIN. at a cost of $30 to $40. Don't get sucked in.. If I purchase a title for an Xbox1 I could resell the disk, here it is all virtual and can be capriciously wiped out at the whim of the developers. If you choose to invest any time with this game PLEASE keep your wallet in your back pocket. This totally unethical.I can prove what was spent with Paypal Currently they are selling new"introductory " packages to the unsuspecting public for $29 to $99. , There is probably some legal mouse print that allows them to do whatever they want, but does that make it ethical? If it is unethical should we trust the website or allow children to play there? I think not. That is why I take the time to voice what my experiences have been.
