This is a interesting and beneficial website that uses statistics to analyze current events.

Safe site, however provides highly inaccurate predictions regarding election outcomes. Do not trust this site in regards to accurate election outcome predictions.

Serious political and sports analysis for serious people. Probably too complex for kids but the writing is very professional and should be suitable if an adult is present to explain key concepts.

Its just a liberal biased website. if you are liberal you will like it. if you are republican you wont like it. easy as that. but dont expect to get actual accurate information. Liberals just getting told what they want to hear

Unreliable and definitely biased political news.
1
Safe site all about science and others' opinions of science.

It is a very good political/news site. Perhaps my only (minor) issue with it is probably in the past it was politically focused and now it appears to have spread out to general news as well.
3
Informative, data based, full of graphics that are easily read. Some in-depth articles not for everyone. Great site.

Sites like this are sorely needed on the web, where speculation and hearsay come first and facts come last. Obviously, peer-reviewed sources are always superior, but you can do a lot worse than 538.
6
#datajournalism site by the famous Nate Silver launched in March 2014 under #ESPN ownership. Broadening to covering #politics #economics #science #sports. So some #nbatalk too
5
awesome statistics side for elections
4
Rigorous statistics site for elections- Open about methodology, editor bias is openly acknowledged in comments, but numbers remain the same for open scrutiny.
