Is freedommag.org Safe?

Every single Scientology website has a bad rating on WOT for one reason. People disagree with their views. This is the web of trust, not the web of hate and judgement. Spend more time giving actual bad sites bad ratings. this is just a religious site like any other

This is a Scientology related site. Every Scientology related site that I've visited has included the same warnings about being untrustworthy and unsuitable. All of these sites are honest, ethical, and appropriate. Some fool is putting this misinformation out there in an effort to trash the reputation of these sites. Don't take my word for it - look at them yourself. If it can be stopped, it should be.

Users may disagree with the Church of Scientology and its teachings, but this site has a right to publish its views. To do otherwise is to deny the organization its right to freedom of expression and to publish its brand of journalism. None of WOT's third party partners have objected. The blocking of this site seems driven solely by philosophical opponents. By accepting their verdict, Web of Trust is engaging in censorship and discrimination. For the record, I am an investigative reporter researching Scientology, and I am not a church member.

If you watch both the bbc panorama show on scientology and this response from scientology you see at points that is very clear that scientology is using video editing to make him look bad. This is a two edged site. The Church of Scientology is very controversial. People should treat the church with extreme caution. On the other hand the site posts useful material not found in the mainstream press. Unfortunately the harsh reality is that the truth often is posted by disreputable people. This is a reality not only in intelligence but also investigative reporting. I wish I could give the site a yellow. Just be careful not to get scammed, and, as usual, take everything posted with a huge grain of salt.

This is the most truthful information you will find on this subject. There are others who will say otherwise, mostly due to their faulty handling of the truth. The main test is to FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF. Don't believe me or others. Read a book, or go to a Church of Scientology and ask questions. That is what they are there for.
