Is freescore360.com Safe?

freescore360.com isn't a good site. I agree, phishing, scammers, and possibly malware, and they had TransUnion name on the who from, and went to read the URL and found this. Sorry Wot didn't mean to undermine you here. It's isn't a friendly site at all.

This site has several “Sister” sites and they are ALL misleading, or flat out lies about what you get for signing up. Although they WILL give you a “score” of some type (usually a low one so they can offer you “THEIR” services at an outrageous fee), you have to give them your credit/debit card, SSN and some personal information BEFORE you can get the “FREE” report, then they will make you pay for the other two credit reports they “SAID” you were to get for free, and you are automatically on a “Trial” subscription, that if you don’t read the fine print, usually only lasts about 7 days. If you do not cancel at least 24-48 hours before the trial ends, they will charge your card. I have not had any problems from them after canceling the subscription, but they do have some of my personal information, but I also got a new card so the one they have on file is invalid and they cannot charge my account. Also, they will flood your inbox with “SPAM” from ALL of their sites and the ones they gave (probably sold) your email address to, but they get around that by saying that you signed up for their “Newsletters and Special Offers” when you accepted their “Terms of Use", so you have to “Unsubscribe” from each one you get, or just setup a filter to have them go directly to the “Trash’ or “Spam folder”. I say, use at your own risk, but READ ALL THE FINE PRINT! Most banks will give you the same service for free or for a very small fee, plus you are protected against ID theft with the bank!

i am new to WOT, so i am still learning.(about the site) i am so very confused (about EVERYTHING on the internet regarding trust issues) i have been job searching and have applied for a few (dozen) jobs and in doing so i have posted my resume, given out personal information, etc... come to find out, thru my email, that "per my credit score request......" and i did not, never have, ever, requested my credit score. i dont even know what it should be! after doing a little reading, just applying for a job and filling out an on line application that there may be third party, what ever they are, people who get involved and blah blah blah. like i said i so confused, . suddenly i am out there requesting things, and getting calls from colleges, why i dont know, and all these kind of people want to help me..... ??? i am still out of work, i have a great, honest resume, a lot of work experience, hard worker.. yet still unemployed. i hate when they say " apply on line" i do not see any good out of it.
