I wanted to download a program. When I installed it, I clicked on "Custom installation and had to disable the installation of three other installations. But even this didn't change something at the installation of Mogogenie, Regclean and PC Backup.
My conclusion: Don't use this website, yust leave it! Otherwise you get dozens of SPAM PROGRAMS!

Für Freeware gibt's viel bessere Seiten bei denen man keinen Downloader installieren muss.
Für die meiste Freeware gibt's auch eine Homepage - googelt lieber nach dem Programm und ladet es von der Entwicklerseite herunter um die jeweilgen Progammierer zu unterstützen.
Kann für "Payware" von Herzen ***** empfehlen, das zu RapidShare, Uploaded und anderen verlinkt.

at least some downloads use a special downloader application that will try to trick you to install some toolbar and some system checker or anti virus software

Aufpassen nicht mit ***** verwechseln ,bei avast leuchtet die seite gleich rot auf ,die haben jetzt was ähnliches wie wot und ist nicht schlecht um zu vergleichen den wot zeigt sie grün an und die seite sollte dunkel rot aufleuchten so hat man zwei meinungen!!!!!!!

Questionable download from "One-click CD/DVD". Decided not to install, so tried to erase all downloaded data, but was left with one mysterious file that cannot be erased!! Certainly something going on through the back door.

Leute ihr müsst auch die bewertungs farben richtig ansetzen sonst geht die seite als sicher (grün) durch obwohl sie eher Rot höchstens Orange währe. Das würde anderen Usern helfen fehler zu vermeiden. MFG

Das Programm wird namentlich ausgewiesen, im download kommt aber die sog. Downloader-exe und nicht das Programm ... da hört es schon bei mir auf, denn meist danach Registrierung und kostenpflichtig...

Diese Seite kommt mir nicht so vertrauswürdig über, ich würde Software wie Gimp auf der Orginal Seite downloaden und nicht auf so einer Seite.

Der Name Freeware-download ist reichlich irreführend.
Hier sind viele Programme Shareware oder Adware.
außer stehen viele Programme in Verdacht Viren zu verbreiten.
