The site employs bots and fake user profiles to entice members to pay for the service. They also own ***** which is set up the same way and use the same automated bots to trick users. For example, users have made profiles lacking certain info, they then started to receive messages from females that would comment on their non existent profile pic...

Free to register, but to be able to communicate at all it requires payment. Free users receive fake, bot produced messages to entice and lure them into buying premium service. Those messages are received from accounts/profiles that are results of identity frauds, using pictures of attractive people stolen from the internet and fake personal information. When the real people seen on those pictures are found and contacted, they confirm that they did not even register on this site and they do not know of it. Most of the time the bots, once you buy premiums service, don't even reply once you can respond. Even if the bot keeps the conversation with you, it will stop if you try to confirm if it is a real person, or try to talk to them outside the sites environment, or arrange a meeting in real life. Reporting said fake profiles does nothing, as it is common buisness practice for the owner of the site to set up those fake profiles with bots in the first place. There are hundreds if not thousands of them. Despite more and more people reporting this activity, the site owners deny responsiblity and continue to advertise. I wasted my money on nothing but cheap bots that couldn't even keep the coversation going. Do not fall for this scam.

You have to pay unreasonable prices to do anything other than setting up your profile and sending messages only, there's also major concern about possible dummy profile spamming.

Here's another site that is completely fake, just like furrymate.com. The site is completely fake. You can sign up for free, and you can post your pictures and profile, all for free. You can look at profiles, too, but you can't talk to anyone. And then the messages start coming in. Every week, you will get precisely 2 messages, ostensibly from some gorgeous girl or guy, asking you to message them back. You look at their profiles, and they...*sorta* look okay. But then take their image and run it through a Google Image Search, and you find the 'girl of your dreams' on Shutterstock and Stockphoto. The only people there are suckers who paid to read the messages generated by a robot.

This site is a complete money grab. It's supposed to be a furry dating site to let people hook up, but unless you give them money, you can't even view your own private messages, which is main way you communicate on the site. You constantly get private messages from other member, but you can't guarantee that they are legit because you can't even view part of the message unless you pay them, so you could be getting spammed to have them attempt to get you to pay money (you even get lots of messages when you have a completely blank profile). They put a heavy amount of emphasis on being able to /send/ messages for free, and talk nothing about communicating or chatting by private message for free. You even have to pay them money to just edit your profile and privacy settings! Now, I don't mind a site trying to make money to run, but this is just ridiculous and a total scam, not to even mention the huge security holes there were when the site launched, which questions even it's current security measures. Stay away from this site and find somewhere else to try and hook up.

You can only view messages when you buy a premium membership and you get many fake messages

- A "furry" quick-sex dating site that is mostly useless unless paid and no idea if paid. Basic functions are behind a pay wall with questionable teases. Mostly useless without paying, unknown usefulness when paid. - Site debuted with a critical security flaw exposing any and every user's private information: email, IP address, and unsalted MD5 password hash, to anybody who attempted to perform basic site functions. This was eventually corrected. - Definitely not child-friendly. Nude cartoons on the main landing page and blatantly attempting to solicit funds for hook ups to engage in adult activities.
