From reading other reviews and looking at the site, this is not a trustworthy website and I would highly recommend you avoid purchasing anything from them. I'm only leaving a review because so many people are only leaving reviews and not rating the site. PLEASE RATE THE SITE so that people know it's not trustworthy

Horrible service and a ridiculous policy of ID card verification where you have to send a picture of your face and the ID card to them in order to even get the game.

So I've now "shopped" (more like got scammed) at Games Rocket twice now, and overall both times were not pleasant. Originally I thought the first time there was just a one off, but when you have a poor experience twice there then that's a different story. My first time was with buying a video game and even after they called me my order would not go through, I eventually got my key after doing a re-order (charged me twice) and it turned out to be already claimed by someone else by Steam. So I contacted support and they claimed I had activated the product and was not eligable for a refund. I tried to tell them (I'm saying them as everytime you contact "support" it brings you to another member) that I got the key that way but they wouldn't have it and before I knew it my elidgable time for a refund had passed. My second experience with them was with buying a piece of software and I never had any issues doing my order, it was however another fault with activation. The key would not pass the verification, and I couldn't activate my product no matter how I tried to do it. Games Rocket "support" (someone called Thomas) told me a "how to activate" copy & paste reply taken from the store page, despite me already claiming it wouldn't activate from that or other methods; I contacted them again and got in touch with Arnold who said he couldn't help at that time and he'd get in touch next week, of course he never did; I contacted them again and I got in touch with Dave who told me (in German) to go to a dogy German site to activate my product which also didn't work; now I contacted them for the fouth time and guess what I'm back to Arnold telling me the exact same thing he said ealier. That's currently where I am now and this is the last time I'm using them to buy anything. DON'T SHOP HERE!!! I repeate DON'T SHOP HERE!!!

Complete fraud scheme. Pay with PayPal and they demand you send them a picture of your ID/Passport and you holding the ID/Passport. Doing so literally hands over the keys to identity fraud to the criminals. This is an overseas company. The point of using PayPal is to protect the buyer from divulging personal information over the internet, unencrypted. Currently on the winning side of a PayPal dispute, so at least there's that.

bizarre verification scheme. still not received key as their system seems to think I am a scammer. Idiots.

I ordered from this site, pay via credit card, and am told an email will be sent detailing the codes needed to download my games. So far, what I expected. Instead, the email I received said they needed to "verify" my payment. Keep in mind my card had already been charged st this point. To verify me the wanted me to send in a photograph of myself and my government ID or passport. What? I've been shopping online 17+ years and never encountered this before. Assuming this isn't fraudulent, be upfront about this before payment is received. As it stands they had no problem taking my money, but they have to verify me before they hand out what I bought. Working on getting my money back.

I ordered on a Sunday afternoon expecting to get my game code within 15 minutes like they state. They don't respond until the next morning (about 15 hours later) and I find out it's because they don't even have staff on weekends. They also purposely ignored the cancellation request I sent the previous day just so they could get me stuck behind their policy which states that you can't cancel an order for a digital product after it's delivered by email.

So I thought I would buy from this site because they had dirt 2 which steam has taken down. After paying with paypal (money subtracted from account), I was sent an email asking for payment verification including a photoscan of your passport, a completed form and a picture of you and your passport in the same photo. Money had left my account but the game was being witheld from me. Very sketchy. I was warned about none of this before purchasing and the process seems obviously suspicious. The information would make it incredibly easy to steal your identity and it is not something you want pass out over the internet no matter the site. I am still waiting on a reply about a refund. Do not buy from this site. There is no justification for needing that information.

A legitimate company, I suppose, but one with exceedingly dim-witted verification schemes. Edit: and, as I now see from WOT and other sources, this is an ongoing practice. I placed an order and immediately paid for it using my Verified Paypal account, and, obviously, my bank account was charged and the money sent. What I received instead of the Steam code was a verification request asking for a scan of my passport together with a signed approval of purchase, because, you see, they've had trouble with stolen credit cards recently. There's two serious problems with this: 1) A random download site (as it appeared to me at the time) asking for passport and signature details is a textbook potential identity fraud in and of itself, and, additionally, a privacy violation (to those who believe privacy still exists)! You should never submit such information even if you're completely convinced of the legitimacy of the asking party. Passport data and signature should only be presented in person. 2) No outstanding warnings or notifications before completion of payment that any such verification process may be required. Without much imagination you could call it taking money and running with it, another textbook case of fraud. Now, the sum in question is very small, so I'm just asking for an immediate refund. However, without any kind of prompt resolution taking place I will not hesitate to file a dispute with Paypal. I will not be dealing with this company again. I recommend avoiding it. Passing their business risks to the customer is customer abuse.

First I will say that I think this site is legit, selling genuine keys and does not scam it's customers. But, I've had a pretty bad experience with them, I don't know if they do this with every customer or to specific countries or something (I live in Israel), they ask you to fill and sign a contract that you did in fact pay them money over PayPal also they require a scan of your ID and a photo of your holding your ID. I imagine most people won't go so far just to buy some games. What really got me mad is that you get no warning before purchase, if anything you will think the system is automated and that you will receive the game instantly (on the game page it says 5-15 minutes), so after you pay the money (85 euros in my case) their automated system decides that you're a scammer. However if you will do what they ask, you will receive your game and they won't ask you to do it again, I obviously did not go through with this and asked a refund, they game it pretty quickly, around 12 hours later.

In order to receive game, Verification is required over phone. This is not detailed when you are purchasing the item and is very misleading.

Worst experience ever. Purchased a game in Friday evening, and they asked me to send my phone number and give them the best time to call me and verify my order. In Saturday, I waited for their call, but I didn't receive any thing, and in Sunday they didn't call me neither. They weren't answering to my emails Finally, In Monday, they sent me a e-mail asking me to fill a form and send them picture of my ID and picture of my while I'm holding the ID card. I did as they requested and I sent it to them. After few hours, they cancelled my order without any reason and refunded me. I contacted them about this, but they didn't answer. I purchased Guild Wars 2 (Pre-Purchase edition) and waited 3 days to receive my order and they cancelled it without any reason after all the waiting, and now all the other stores don't sell this edition any more because it's limited edition. Also, they have the worst customer service I ever seen. Do NOT buy from them.

I've ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops on this website and I can only recommend that shop. Seconds after the order, I received an email with the download link and the activation key for the game and everything worked quite well. Thumbs up!
