This website has absolutely no ethical standards when it comes to "Journalism." They actively plagiarize other websites and even worse, violate people's legitimate rights to privacy. This is a website that has been known to promote bullying, harassment, and invasion of people's private lives (including leaking pornographic materials) for profit. I see no reason why anyone would want their children viewing anything on Gawker's network.

Presents itself as a news site. However, the site contains overly sensationalized titles that often do not even coincide with the story presented in the article. Authors stretch the facts to fit their agenda and sometimes simply present false facts as true. Sometimes this is because they blatantly steal from other sites that are not trustworthy. It is the liberal version of Fox News, along with the other sites in the Gawker network (such as Jezebel.)

Not sure how this site is rated safe for children when there are sex tapes of Hulk Hogan on it and other celebrity nudes. The site is safe, and is generally a clickbait site with shoddy journalism and is often very tabloid-esque. Some people enjoy it, just as some enjoy "Keeping up with the Kardashians." Take what you read with a grain of salt anywhere, but especially here.

Corrupt to the core. A laundry list of violations would include advocacy for bullying of the disenfranchised in society, condoning pedophilia, celebrity stalking, leaking copyrighted materials, leaking private information of high profile targets, libel, not paying employees, hiring forum moderators on non-affiliated websites to conduct subversive methods of censorship and advertisement, etc. Gawker is the pinnacle of clickbait / outrage articles. Anything related to social advocacy is a facade meant to create a society of paranoia and anger. Even ignoring the site completely, it maintains an unhealthy presence on the Internet at large to do its vast network. Avoid this site and all of its affiliates at all costs.
