Is geekbuying.com Safe?

Even though they seemed a professional, serious, and reliable company to buy from; they are located in China and do not always follow EU laws even though they should. That's not just dangerous for national security and privacy, but they offer also only 12 months of warranty even though EU Law clearly states that if you sell something in the EU, you have to offer 24 months of warranty: "EU law stipulates that you must give the consumer a minimum 2-year guarantee (legal guarantee) as a protection against faulty goods, or goods that don't look or work as advertised. Geekbuying will not obey EU law and pay for shipping fees. I bought a Jimmy JV85 Pro Vacuum cleaner that broke down less than 1y after purchase. Geek buying will repair, but will not pay for shipping fees, even though European law states the consumer must have the repair free on any expense, including shipping fees.

I bought a Geekbox electronic board and a small screen from Geekbuying in march 2017 for 150 USD. The board arrived faulty, one of the communication ports was fried. I took some time and demonstrated the issue with oscilloscope captures of the data lines and documented the investigation process so that it's easy to understand what the problem is and I emailed their customer support asking for a replacement unit. I wrote 7 emails to them where I had to constantly remind and ask them about my broken unit. They finally agreed to take it back in JUNE ! So I sent the item back and they received it on the 4th of August. It is now the 21st of OCTOBER and they keep telling me that the item is "being repaired" every time I write to them. I am very frustrated that I spent so much time, energy and money on this. They won't refund or give any indication of when is this going to be fixed. I don't even need the damned thing 7 months later ! I got ripped off - please steer clear of this shady company.

Не рекомендую покупать на сайте и верить их скидкам.

CHINESE SCAM FRAUD!!! I bought over $170 USD worth of goods. When money is in transit they claim order is "being processed." First excuses of parts or product out of stock, then internal Chinese customs returned part of shipment. I then requested a full REFUND. They claimed 20-30 business days. I PATIENTLY WAITED, IT HAS BEEN 35 BUSINESS DAYS. NO REFUND OR EVEN EMAIL REPLIES!!!

Thought I was getting a great deal here, but what I was buying was falsely advertised JUNK. Purchased item in July 2015, advertised UPGRADE TO LOLLIPOP.   Now June ***** still waiting for the upgrade.   Customer service claims it was a supplier issue, yet they continue to advertise the same phone with the same upgrade.  Been trying for months to get an upgrade or refund... no luck with either.    This is what happens when you buy DIRECT FROM CHINA.   You are screwed.

Je me suis procurer un jolie Onda V975M Amlogic M802 Quad Core 9.7 En special pour 180$ CA , pas de taxe ny de frai de douanne. Il on une experience en export, il passe outre les frai de douanne en étiquettant GIFT , sur leur envoi. Merci
