This site is offering one of my books for download. Either illegal (they don't have the rights to it) or malware or virus.

This site provides links to media that might be pirated. If you think authors are giving away books for free on sites you've never heard of, the site is probably illegal. Downloading from the site is stealing.

Any site that asks for a credit card number when you haven't ordered anything is questionable, in my opinion

I have had no trouble downloading ebooks without malicious ads or add-ons. General-ebooks offers both free and for-pay books through Barnes and Noble.

I do not know about the pirating but I have ad blocker on and have had no problems with this site, and I have read a lot of books from this site.

Authors are reporting that their books are pirated on this site. Also, includes ads that were blocked by my virus protection, so definitely NOT a good site as some have rated.
