Is greatergood.com Safe?

I paid for an order that came to $60.80, and was charged only $1 shipping (for a total of $61.80 US) , as part of a special promotion the site was having. When the item was delivered to my door, I was charged $15.11 CAD on the spot. I emailed The Greater Good customer service, and there was no response. I emailed again a week later, and was told that they were not responsible for customs charges. I was told by two postal workers at two separate times that this was not a customs charge; that it was charged to me by the sender of the package. I emailed again, and the person would not refund my money, insisting it was a customs charge despite my repeatedly telling them that the post office had said otherwise. My money was never refunded. Also I did not receive a pin with my previous order and emailed, and she said she would send it again. I never received it. I have never shopped at this site again, and would recommend that you do not, because they are liars and are out to rip you off.

This is a pretty nice site where you can do good deeds completely for free. All you have to do is click on the buttons for each individual cause. The ads that you see are what fund the site so if you have an adblocker, you should disable it for this site or otherwise the site will not get the funding required for the donations. The only thing I do not like about htis site is that they need to have a donation option for heart disease and one for strokes.
