Is haband.com Safe?

I made online purchase. Received confirmation email. Did not receive any email from them for two days. On the third day, I check my account with them and there was nothing there. I wrote them a email cancelling the order, received nothing in return. The same day I sent a second email and still nothing. Late in the day my credit card was charged for the full price of the order. I called customer service and was tolled there was nothing they could do, they could not cancel. Two days later I received two emails, one said it was shipped on the 26th, the second said it was shipped on the 27th. I sent a email back asking for shipping information, three hours later their email said it was shipped by US Mail ! It states 6-8 business days for shipping. I will never buy from them again !

Ordered several items, received a bill for $5 to cover cost of "over sized" item, the item was not over sized. Several days later, received a refund check for that over sized item as it was out of stock, however, the charge for the over size had been deducted from the refund! The check was returned as refused because of that, however, signing the check would have "allowed" Haband to start spamming and to bill for other services directly to the credit card on file. There are many complaints about Haband on the net, easy search to find them.

I had a good experience buying from this company, BUT - I get email from them every day! Even though I unclicked every category of contact when I first started my account with them. So I'm getting daily spam. Ugh. I love what I bought, but if I'd known, I probably would not have bought anything.
