An extremely suspicious website for a singe, major reason-- Mozilla does not issue Firefox updates from this location. This site, or an affiliated site, issued an orange-colored screen message, claiming to "update" Firefox. When the message panel permission button was clicked, downloads began from this website, as established by the system firewall log of this incident. Yet, on quickly checking Firefox, itself, for notice of any update scheduled, Firefox indicated no update was available. The orange message is likely from a malware infection passed from website to website. Again, beware of any screen pop-up message advising a Firefox update. Do not click on the message panel, no matter how trustworthy it appears. Instead, check with Mozilla, the maker of Firefox. Here is how to check. From the Firefox menu at top left of the screen, go to "Help" , then "About Firefox", and verify an update is scheduled. That menu location is the most reliable confirmation of the authenticity of any update message. While that careful check for update status requires more effort, the alternative is to expose your computer system and your data to damage or complete loss.
