I have found absolutely nothing wrong with this site and the information presented at no charge is very informative. Why does this site have a negative rating?
Helpful
I was stunned to see a warning from WOT (Web of Trust) on this website. Clearly, it has either garnered a negative review from someone with an axe to grind (perhaps an alternative medicine practitioner?) or it has been caught in a filter because of the words "for adults" on its home page. Yes, this is indeed a health and wellness information site intended for adults—specifically targeted at those over 50 years of age with the health issues and concerns endemic to that age group; It does not address child health issues. I would guess that it is highly unlikely that children under 12 years of age would be interested in viewing the content on this site unless they were seeking medical or health for a condition common to older people. If they did, they would find no harmful content, although possibly the information would be beyond the level of their comprehension. The designation "for adults" is in no way meant to signify that the content is inappropriate for children because it is violent or sexual in nature. Quite the contrary, in fact. The site was formerly associated with the renowned Johns Hopkins medical facility. It is now published in partnership with the esteemed journal Scientific American. I have subscribed to this site for many, many years and appreciate its straightforward, no-nonsense reporting on legitimate, evidence-based scientific research.

No reason for any alarms to set for this site IMO! Good site with useful health information!

Helpful information about senior citizens' health issues.
2
I have been using this site for years, and have no problem with it. If you do decide to purchase a white paper, though, you have to make sure that you don't fall into their automatic renewal plan. Otherwise, good, sound advice.
3
I've found very useful health information on this site.
