Heat of Wisdom has a section dedicated to homeschooling children. One would think that teaching children math, literature, and science is necessary, but this website clearly states that focusing more on academics than on the Bible is a "mistake". Even more disturbing than their insistence that small children be brought up to believe that the Bible is the "only real book", is the fact that they have a section on eugenics. Yes, that's right, eugenics -- the so-called science of why certain people shouldn't be allowed to breed based on their race, mental health, or behavior. The Nazis had a eugenics program that forcibly sterilized hundreds of thousands of people and killed tens of thousands of mentally ill patients. Despite this fact, it is nevertheless listed next to Dinosaurs and Photosynthesis as a legitimate scientific topic suitable for children to learn about. Simply put: this website is harmful to children. Even though there is nothing dangerous about reading classical Greek literature, Heart of Wisdom advises parents to avoid teaching children about mythology because it believes the Bible is the only book kids will ever need. And even though teaching children eugenics can potentially lead to a child forming prejudices at an early age, this website includes it in its science section. This website repeatedly demonstrates its willingness to sacrifice the well being of children, especially their education, in order to spread its religious message. Stay away from this website!
