Owned by "Nobis Technology Group," (nobistech.net) who runs unproven and anonymous proxy services under many different names, but all based on accessing your computer and private data. Some domain names owned by this company are: hidemyip.com, hide-my-ip.com, ***** (some may already be shut down by the time you are reading this).

Good site.. no doubt

Well i know it's unethical but sometimes it's become urgent to hide your ip to sign in to a restricted community and I having a good experience with this website. so this site is really a great site in my opinion.

i downloaded trail version of 'Hide my IP' and scanned via Avast antivirus 5 (free version) The result is no threat found, i think its secure.

A lot of vulnerabilities, not an unsafe website itself, but malicious users may try to inject site with bad code to try and infect other users.

I got a virus from this program. I am certain that it was this program as it occurred within seconds of attempting to install the downloaded hide my IP application.
