The title suggested that a new government regulation had started. It was not a new government rule or regulation. "So, what is the "One Simple Rule?" NEVER buy insurance without comparing all of the discounts online first." A link from this page led to FreeRateReport.com. That page asks for some personal information and has a "compare" button. The fine print refers to a "submit" button. The fine print at the bottom of the page said, "By clicking submit I authorize up to eight insurance companies or their agents to contact me using this information to provide quotes where permitted by law. I understand that for the purposes of the National Do Not Call registry, this constitutes an existing business relationship, allowing this website and its partners to contact me for up to 90 days after this request. Insurance companies or their agents may confirm my information through the use of a consumer report, which may include my credit score and driving record, of which I authorize this website and its partners to obtain. I have read and understand the privacy policy and terms and conditions of this website." "FreeRateReport.com is a service of *****LLC".
