Is historyplace.com Safe?

It's interesting how each generation thinks they have the truth and generations before them were stupid or in error. But we all know that your generation is stupid because your children will grow up and be the new "smart" ones. It's OK to report history as a sequence of facts, but when you judge past cultures based on modern resources and needs, you negate a major portion of the history that actually happened- that is, what was the history and the environment that lead to that type of thinking. I say this because we ARE returning to a time when resources will dwindle like those days and we WILL become "stupid" again just like them. When that time comes we will then understand they were not so stupid, but doing exactly what they needed to do for survival. Why not, rather, in an age of abundance, force ourselves to see history from their point of view and support ideas that are not popular in this modern age. Yes, people will attack you because they are stupid, but many will become smarter from the enlightenment. We don't need narcissistic historians.
