I've been using Hostica for over 10 years, and have never had a problem. Their support is responsive, accommodating, and they have yet to fail at solving one of my issues. They even made a tweak to how a particular coding language was handled on my site, so I could use a specific Wordpress plugin. Their site may be ugly, but there's nothing malicious or unsafe about it. I'd recommend their hosting to anyone.

Been using this ***** to host my website for ten years and never a problem. This Web of Trust nonsense is becoming worthless.

I've hosted 3 web sites with them for 10 years. Any negative comments must have come from a competitor. Excellent service, good value, prompt reply to emails.

I think this red rating must be an error... I've done business with them for over 5 years without any problems.

A little surprised at the bad rating. I have also been with Hostica for many years and had no problems. However I do know that their servers were attacked by viruses

I have used Hostica for five of six years. I have never had a difficulty that could not be solved quickly. I have no reason to believe that Hostica is anything but a good site. I have had good customer experience. Hostica has been trustworthy & reliable. I have no evidence that Hostica has misused my privacy or made a child unsafe.

OK folks, as promised I did go and check out with the ***** being given a big red bad warning, which did surprise me. So I immediately emailed the company and asked quite bluntly "What's happening with Hostica's reputation?" and then went on to say I was disappointed I was etc. They got back to me very quickly and told be the background as they saw it of this situation with the following reply:- "Thank you for the information. It appears that a customer of ours had their Web site listed on MalwareDomainList, which indirectly affected hostica.com. However, MalwareDomainList provides no recourse for having sites delisted, even the the reason why ***** was listed was resolved months ago. Web of Trust similar provides zero recourse for false reports." Well now in all fairness I have to ask why is there not another category where if there is reasonable circumstances, there should be a new "Under Public Scrutiny" coloured panel warning screen where fairness either way gives anyone the chance to clear their good name or otherwise? For if like me you go to a site get a big Red & Black Warning you just immediately log out and go elsewhere in a hurry! On balance from my British view of fair play, if the Web of Trust means anything it should at least have a justifiable all round balanced policy. Have a happy and safe day. Merv,

The Web site which is actually hosted in MalwareDomainList's Malware List, *****, is indirectly related to hostica.com due to the reverse name lookup of the IP address to which ***** resolves. The issue with vernoblisk.com has been resolved, but MalwareDomainList provides no recourse for having domains removed from the list. Again, this does not reflect the hostica.com Web site itself.

Our business has been using hostica for years. We've had no problem. They offer really good support.

Found on MalwareDomainList's Malware List. Stay away!
