Is hqcollect.me Safe?

Was once a really good service, I had 3 or 4 non-consecutive months with them and managed to download loads of files. Recently paid $25 USD for another month, the site has been unavailable ever since. They USED to be great, it now seems they’ve started taking money and blocking people from accessing the site after they pay OR they’ve decided to take all the money they had and shut down operations with absolutely no warning. Don’t be suckered in.

Yup, I'm vouching for everyone else's warnings here. I should've done my usual bit of basic research before buying some scammer a $25 Amazon gift card. Supposedly in the past this site did have a free option? Well, no matter. My downloads have been "processing" for half an hour now. I'm usually super cautious, but this time I got suckered. Don't repeat my mistake! HQCollect is just a well-played scam.

Scam. They pretend to have files you want, but you have to sign up and give them your email address. After a while, you get an email that your file is ready, but when you go to download it, they hit you with an 'Oh, if you actually want to download, you need a vip membership' (minimum $25). Typical bait and switch scam.

When I first subscribed to hqcollect I found it near impossible to navigate and the customer service nonexistent. Well, I figured out the navigation part and have bee very pleased with what I've been able to download. At some point I stopped receiving emails from them, but figured out how to get around that also, and continue to download lots of stuff. If anyone wants help figuring this out, post a comment to let me know. It's two biggest DRAWBACKS are the method of payment, which is an absolute pain, but workable. The other is it's lack of customer support. It seems the only way they'll respond to you is when you purchase more gigs. So, if I have to rate it, I give it an average only because of the downloads.

I agree with the other posters who have ripped this place. A few months back, I purchased an Amazon gift number for the specific purpose of getting older content that ***** advertised. After giving them the gift #, I could not access the content and, later, I received an email in broken english telling me that the content was not available because it was too old and gone. No refund, no sorry. Here we are, a few months later, and the site STILL has that same content advertised as available. This site is a STRAIGHT SCAM and should be given a failing rating, not a 76/100, which is what it is now.

How is it that you have recieved at least one other compoletely negative review of this site and you still give at better than 80% trustworthy score. The site is a total scam and rip off. It makes me think they must be paying sites like wot to give them high ratings. I was a dumbass and went off of other positive reviews hqcollect.me i found online. Spent $50 on an amazon card that was stolen by the site because of idiots writing positive reviews like you guys. I don't know how you can call yourselves wot. Web Of Bullshit is more like it. I will never trust anything your site says again. In fact I wont ever use it again. Get your sh....t together!

You guys are sooooooo far off the mark. I joined WOT just to write this review and I am FURIOUS!!! They are NOT legitimate! These f**k heads only allow you a certain amount of viewing. (which is about 3 or 4 videos-just checking out the beginning of a video, is counted as a whole video) The quality is substandard. If you want to continue you have to get a premium membership. To do this, you have to use an ***** gift card (which means you have to get an ***** account. Once you get your card. (I stupidly got a $25.00-a month's worth-card) you enter the cards code to get your premium membership. I was looking for just ONE thing:old Erromax videos/pictures. Well turns out half the videos they advertise "are not available." The quality does NOT improve with your membership either. These were all AVI's. The scant two pages of old Erromax material proved to be utterly useless to me. I then looked at the "full length movies" section. Most of the movies were just awful, cheap, garbage. Anytime one seemed worthy of at least checking out, you guessed it, the video was "not available." This happened 50 times, before I gave up. Attempts to contact them were completely fruitless. I canceled my account, even though I still had 29 days left on my account. Account was canceled instantly, and now my login doesn't even work. They stole $25.00 from me, pure and simple. And I have no recourse to the law because it was on a gift card. I can't even fight it. I hope SOMEONE sees this and is spared the frustration. If anyone knows who these guys are I would love an address so I could personally punch their f**king faces in.
