The negative comments shared below have got to be from people who aren't Independent Business Owners or they would recognize the value of this great site. I've been a member for about a year and I have NEVER been spammed by anyone because of my membership with this site. This site does share a lot of great information as well as business opportunities and internet work-from-home jobs but I have never seen anything malicious or "scammy" here at all. Shame IBO reflects such a poor rating on this site. This will hopefully go up soon.

I have been with this membership for over 6 months and it is perfectly safe. They are not MLM or pyramid scheme or anything else. In fact they don't even profit as a company. they provide a platform for business owners to network and promote their company. They will never except a dime from anyone. Everything is free there. Everything. Now I can't vouch for every member there because there are rotten people everywhere, including church or anywhere else "holier than thou', but anyone who has any sense should already know not to fall for any scams and not to give out any crucial info. The 2 whole comments that I see on here don't say anything specific. So it' appears that that they don't even know anything about what their talking about. They had a bad experience somewhere and are now on a crusade to bash anyone that they suspect of doing the same thing. IBO Toolbox is a great social web site. Anyone that has an opportunity should go there and look for themselves. I don't work for IBO, I am a business owner who uses IBO like Facebook or LinkedIn. And me or any one I do business with never spam. It's people like those two comments that make people use the double opt-in system that most of us use to promote our business. That just makes it harder on the customer. So in reality your only hurting the people your supposedly trying to protect. I don't email anyone who doesn't ask me to. And Anti-Virus, Anti-Maleware, and Anti-Phishing software is ridiculously cheap these days.
