Was linked to for a source on an article in Science Daily Magazine. Did not seem suspicious at all and the study linked to seemed well referenced and legitimate.

Journal indexed by PubMed. I do not see why it should be suspected. However, i am not specialist in the field, and I read just one article. This was a review that sounded welll written and documented. Seeking for more information, I found this negative opinion: ***** Would it be trustable?

As far as safety goes, this is an unremarkable site of a mid-level scientific journal. As far I can see, there are no obvious safety risks and no offensive content. I saw no obvious advertising or any other annoyances. No downloads (dangerous or otherwise) of any kind, besides the research papers. No requests for sensitive personal information in order to read the content. No anti-virus alerts while browsing. The journal's contact information and the names of the leadership are clearly displayed. The individual who originally gave the site a negative rating did so out of a disagreement with the content of some research articles. The rigor and fairness of peer review is a valid topic of discussion for all scientific publications. However, that should have nothing to do with WOT safety rating of a site.

This is a well-recognized open access site publishing rigorous, peer-reviewed research and reviews. I've utilized it for at least 5+ years at least twice weekly (sometimes more often). Good site, good information, good access, good value.

This is definitely not a predatory publisher and the site does not pose any threat, in my experience
3
Another user suspects that this might be a predatory open access journal, but I see nothing particularly suspicious in the front page and instructions to authors. I have not done an in-depth check, though.

Potential, possible, or probable predatory scholarly open-access publisher.
