I subscribe to the news letter. I believe "they" are overly concerned at this point, about the government; however, it is a good idea to be prepared for natural disasters. During TS Isabelle, my area was without power for thirteen days. There was only one operating gas station in the county. There are ads for the things they sell. They offer claims of colloidal silver's use as an antibacterial agent. They offer a portable solar powered battery backup system. We installed solar panels on the roof and have a 25KW propane powered generator. As for politics, we should all read multiple sources for information, especially information that differs from what we expect. The truth is usually somewhere between the two extremes.

I have been going to this site for years - never a problem. I suspect the bad rating is based on politics. Web of Trust seems like a wonderful idea. It will be a shame if it gets perverted by political correctness.

My dad gets their snail mail newsletter. It is gratuitously anti-government and borders on calling for a military coup or presidential assassination. Their political diatribe fails when you check their "facts." It reminds me of the whole Y2K scare that had so many people building bomb shelters and stocking up for the apocalypse. Reading their newsletter makes my dad grumpy and fearful beyond reason. If their products are so good why do they need to scare people out of their wits to sell them? They use hate based politics to sell products. The newsletter rages on and on for pages about free reports and then the last page tells you what you must buy to get the "free reports". These "free reports", when they finally arrive end up being 10-50 pages long even tho they are given "retail values" of $20.00 to $100.00. Skip the hype and learn about self-sufficiency from a better source.

I was checking this out for my dad. When I did a web search I found a link promising a users manual. The listing implied I would be getting the manual only and I expected it would be inexpensive. When I get to the link the manual is only available after one forks over $2,000.00 to buy the product.

Another one of those apocalypse scams that wants you to buy their "Survival kit".

This site is good. Negative comments are from anti-freedom shills.
4
This site, cross-linked from another and disguised as a political "push poll" (which is itself a deception), appears to be a phishing attempt to acquire e-mail addresses.
5
Beware, if it is free yet not posted on their website, they are likely just looking to acquire email addresses
