Is infolinks.com Safe?

Unsolicited SPAM emails (3 to different email addresses within the space of a few minutes). Emails didn't follow the federal CAN-SPAM guidelines (no physical address listed for emailer, emails were sent to email addresses that had never opted in to receive emails from this company, emails did not contain an unsubscribe link) and were signed by Itay Avramov "Business Development Team Leader"

I was searching how to comeplete half-life 2's sandtraps(I am on anticitizen one now) and it managed to get through the ad-block filter, about 5 porn tabs opened after that ad popped up, this is illegal for a highly trusted ad software to open porn sites

They took my traffic happily until I somewhat approached the point in which they would have to pay out.. At which point, they sent a vague email accusing me of "fraudulent activities", with no explanation or supporting evidence, and let me know they'd be keeping anything they owed me. I hope they spend it well. My impression: stay away from this seedy company.

I do not understand what should be bad about this site/service. Never had any issues with them, never received any annoying emails or anything no-requested. They just do their job, and they do their job good. 05/13/2010: I even increased my score for InfoLinks in the meantime. I am member for approx. 1/2 year now, never received any annoying emails, no additional advertising from them. System works good, and even is rated as "good service" from side of our customers.
