Por mi propia experiencia profesional, es un servicio para que las empreas sin un servidor de correo propio puedan enviar boletiones a sus suscriptores. Verifican la autenticidad de las direcciones remitentes para evitar phishing y ofrecen todas las herramientas requeridas legalmente para darse de baja, etc.
