Is itechpost.com Safe?

This website gathers information distributed via other websites and displays it incorrectly, often with no source tag. Much of their information is simply "pushed back" and rewritten as new articles until either the information is eventually proven right, or they feel they can drop the story. That is not a news site of any merit and is particularly unacceptable regarding new forms of technology. The viability of citing this website as a source? Nil. This website also uses the dreaded "AdReclaim" service, which offers advertisements of very questionable quality for various age brackets, pop ups that the user lacks control of, etc. A Quality website has no need for this, instead using a pop up that works through pop filters to tell users how they can either donate (which I've done) or turn off the adblock if it's the primary payment for the writer/site operator (which I've also done). For a program like itechpost, there is literally no reason to. The information you gather is outdated or blatantly incorrect, there is no communication with users on the advertisments or what kind at least will be displayed, and the money/information they gather from said advertisments will not improve the quality of either. It is a fundementally wasteful site charading as legitimate news. Look for a different website for your technology based news. They are both more worthwhile of your donated time/money, ad revenue based views, and general use.
