Suspicious, PUP, potentially malware - a non-Windows styled popup asked permission to install software of unknown nature, and Windows 8 identified this URL as the origin of the said proposed software.Something maybe might have hijacked an HP download while trying to configure this new HP/Windows 8.0 notebook. WOT had never heard of this. WMTIPS reports little info, says Registrant is "Alex Smith" and links to a Google cache of its homepage; Google's text-only cached page is entirely in Spanish, prominently featuring "Fundador: Alex Smith" but Google attributes this page to URL "http://www.iurlad.com.ar/"... which does not resolve any questions for this English-only user in USA. McAfee SiIeAdvisor(TM) has never tested this domain, so I left a request there; Google SafeBrowsing has looked at only one page one time in last 90 days, and hpHosts has no record. There is no statement from Hewlett-Packard (HP) that I have seen, that confirms this source URL is used or sponsored or owned by HP, and no License Agreement and no Privacy Policy has been identified. The accompanying instructions direct the user to click on "the Install button at the bottom of the page", but there is not any button on said page labelled "Install". Etc. Seems too sloppy for any HP operation. Am not expert enough myself, safely to test this messy situation. Take care.
