A "news and opinion website". Unfortunately, the site is rife with amateur journalists who write news stories that include their own personal opinions and biases in an attempt to sway the reader, and the articles fail to be stated as "Opinion" or "Personal Piece" anywhere on the page. As a result, news stories posted here are typically biased, partial, and untrustworthy for forming a full picture of a news story. For these reasons, this site should not be relied upon to accurately keep up with news.

Jalopnik articles use adult language that is not suitable for children. Is noted for several malware & tracking software hiding within flash code & png images. It collects social media data, tracks your form input on social media websites. They've lost a large collection of advertisers and are dependent on pornographic click-bait to raise funds.

It is a Kinja site devoted to transportation. The downgrade is because of the high number of trackers to block.
