Is kingsoft.com Safe?

This is the #1 program on my computer. I use Kingsoft PC Doctor and Kingsoft Antivirus 2012. They are absolutely easy to use and very effective -- at least in my experience. I also run both these programs with the free Avast, Spyware Terminator, Threatfire, WinDefender and have ZERO problems. On the occasion that I do run across a virus or malware, Kingsoft has always detected it first, before Avast (which I love so don't think I'm bashing Avast--I'm not) or any other protector. . It has removed it quickly without problems. It is so easy to figure out and use. PC doctor has a one step check up button that takes a few mins to run--3 or 4 mins on average. Don't be put off by its chinese heritage --the english site is kingsoftreseasrch.com. I always have to smile at buyers of Norton and McAfee (Mr. McAfee is currently being sought on murder charges, which is neither here nor there as to the efficacy of his products--just a note of interest) products when there are free progs that are as good or better. An anti-virus and pc opt prog is only good if it works and is easy and you use it.. For me , and I have used them all over the past 20 years--this is the best, easiest, most effective solution I have ever used. I run both on my XP laptop and my wife's win7 desktop-- with consistently excellent results. I truly do love these 2 products BECAUSE THEY WORK, are hassle free, easy as hell , and do exactly what a they should when they should, prob free. Just dont download it from softonic.com--known bad site. ***** has it for sure. I use the free versions and they have all the features working--I don't see any advantage to buying--actually to be honest I know nothing about their paid products the free stuff works so well!!
