Is ksl.com Safe?

A good chunk of the local news articles are well written but the opinion pieces can be downright hateful and the majority of readers that comment are self centered assholes. I heard the classifieds can be good but my experience has been poor with both buying and selling. Most of the people responding either raised the price they were selling for or lowered their offer price once we were in person. I stopped trying when I overhead a coworker bragging about doing that exact thing because the person selling was desperate to pay rent so my coworker was able to buy the thing for a third of what he originally offered the poor seller. I've also gotten phone calls at odd hours because people put my number in on accident and it's up to the person receiving the calls to track down why people are calling and report the incorrect number on each individual post. There's no way to add your number to a blacklist to prevent it from being used.

This is an official News website. This news station has been around since I was born in the 1980s. This News article like any other talks about gloom and doom news like crime, violence, war, abuse, death. Sometimes you will hear people swear or get mad from time to time on TV or on the Internet. Like any other website it's not for kids because the news would be too upsetting for them. I would rate this website blue 10+, yellow 13+ and in a very few cases red 18+ for violence, disturbing pictures, and minor swearing that goes on in the real world.

KSL is a decent news site for local Utah news, and I check it daily. That said, the site does tend to mix in opinion articles, pulp filler, and LDS church items in with the news feed, so sometimes I click on those things by accident and get annoyed. The classifieds are second to none in Utah - the very best, and a genuine service to the community.
