Bought 250W bike motor that turned out to be 125W. But they keep coming up with excuses saying I must be wrong. I've built about 8 electric vehicles over the last 7 years and am very experienced with them. also bought a 1000w controller than blew after a few weeks use with 1000w motor. turns out they use cheap weak transistors and put the current limit close to what it is when running normally. so can blow easy.
