I was led to LilPlay by a search looking for a copy of a book, The Iliad, that I needed for a class paper, as a senior in college. They ask for your credit card, saying that NO fees are charged until a future purchase is made. Within a minute of signing on, a FAKE (as this happened before and is already under Microsoft Investigation from 2015) Microsoft page popped up, and a voice saying SHUT DOWN COMPUTER! DANGER! Call this # for help. Well, I just closed PC and reopened, eliminating this. I went to remove my account and today was 'refunded' $1. This was done without my authorization, and the company just keeps saying "Sorry, that was unfortunate!" For LilPlay maybe, as I e-petition working with our government for changes, and LilPlay will be shut down, and Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit Attorney's want me to submit all info today, to add this site to their investigation. They will be sent emails I received and all info I can . I guess they tried to hack scam the wrong person this time. Thanks WOT for letting me get this out there.

This site is a part of a well-known online streaming scam operation where the victim signs up for a trial membership and unwittingly gives these people their credit information, only to discover that what they were looking for is not available because this site never had legal distribution rights. The con comes when the victim wants to cancel their "free membership" before being charged more money, often resulting in a charge to cancel the membership. This is pure fraud and should be avoided.

I joined up for this so called "FREE" 5 day trial today. Next thing I found my accounts been charged "$0.01". One of the Lilplay workers wrote in comment to one of these "There is no charge for a free membership". Then why was I charged? I wrote back to complain and they simply said they would refund me the money, no other explanation. It's not about the sum of the money stolen, it's the principals behind it. This website uses deception to steal money from people who either aren't gonna check their accounts because its so called "FREE", or who probably won't bother being robbed of such a "small" price. As someone else on here mentioned, its full of clickbait buttons which all keep charging you money from your account such as "Click here to continue with registering your account and donate to UNICEF." So you click it think you're still working on your account, next think they've charged your account for a donation to UNICEF. It's sneaky, and they use vague words on their buttons to get you to press on it. DON'T TRUST IT, DON'T LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS. And the movie they supposedly had when registering, was suddenly not available once I joined. The movies and content that ARE there, are all low-budget, low-profile material and not worth joining up for. If you read the comments from the Lilplay workers on all the complaints down here, you'll also notice that all of them are like set on "automatic mode", saying pretty much the same thing like copy paste and don't address the complaints personally in a serious manner. Save your money and your time, and STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM, MONEY STEALING WEBSITE, and tell other people to do the same. Hope you don't get treated this badly like I and some others on here did.

Dear Jad.Milhem, Thank you for reaching out to us. $1 is not charged for our free membership, our free membership is free. If you received a $1 charge, that would mean you made a purchase on the website. If you received a $1 for cancellation, you did not use our free options to cancel via phone/email but instead chose our express cancellation service. Regards Deborah Carter Customer Relation Officer https://www.lilplay.com
For signing up you need to put your Credit card information!!! This is suspicious. Don't do it.

Looked for an old TV show on youtube. Several sites seemed to have it in HD, claiming that it was available after sign- up. All were portals to 'Tsar-Media/ LilPlay ' free sign-up. I hesitated, and read all the User Agreement info, after it required my credit/ or debit card info to proceed. [ And ensured that no charges would be made to the card - except a one dollar hold, to check the card's validity ( which should last 48-72 hours; which , by the way, equals 3 days). ]The 'easy ' onlline cancellation, was interesting. It offers to move your request to the top of the waiting line, for a $1 fee; to cancel. So, if you don't read the User Agreement ( right away), and discover 3 days later - that you will be automatically billed $29.95 for a month of Premium Service - it will likely take 2 -3 days before your cancellation request is processed. ( Unless, you pay $1 for faster processing. ) That aspect of the whole operation is 'scam' enough for me. However ( I imagined), if I was diligent in cancelling my subscription ( to Premium service) - right after I downloaded the HD/TV show ( I came for) - then it wasn't a total loss. I checked my account status ( at lilplay ' Support) and it showed I was no longer subscribed ( to premium membership; just regular). Yet, every time I searched for the video file I came to see, it didn't come up in the lil play search. I navigated back to the original page - from google search/ you tube ) that claimed to have the video (an old TV movie from the 90's, I wanted to see in HD), and it had a crisp image of the VHS cover. But I never got to see the movie, at all. A media player appeared to be bufferring - and a green Rating screen ( the generic kind that comes before a movie starts; even though this was a TV movie, which likely didn't have this screen originally)- stopped mid stream with a pop-up: " Sign up to watch for free. Login/Register Your registration is almost complete, Resubmit email Confirmation, Click here for unlimited access to Movies, Books, Games $9.95 a month, premium membership " An endless loop of pages that seem designed to steer the user to "pay " for the so -called free service. Yet never playing the video for me. Even though I had gone through the process of signing up, giving my 'debit card ' number, and cancelling the unwanted Premium Membership that is initiated at the time the card number is entered. So, end result, Lilplay/Tsar media has my 'debit' card number, and if they accidentally charge me $29.95 a month ( anyway, despite my 'cancellation' , and confirmation emails), it's my responsibility now (and duty) to contact them ( so they can 'look into it closely'). After clicking on a link to unsubscribe, and cancelling through the phone, I checked my account status; and it stated I was a Regular member. I called the number offered ( rather than the online cancellation process ) , and cancelled over the cell phone; however, it tries to route you back to getting a Premium service in two subtle instances. After you cancel it asks you if you want to get premium: ' press 1'. So I press 2, to cancel. Then a male voice recording states you have cancelled, and then asks if you want to get premium. ( If you are not paying attention, you might think you have cancelled after the first time you key it into your phone, but if you don't stay on the line, and wait several seconds to decline the two repeat offers for premium, it will state that you didn't cancel; perhaps resulting in some people giving up on the phone cancellation and resorting to the email cancellation; which it states in text, takes more time) So ensued a waste of my evening. Because a) After signing-up - ( which - as other commenting people have testified - involves carefully navigating unwanted services, that require payment. A page asks you to pay $2.95 a month for discounted services - and - if you read the entire USER Agreement - clearly states that: after the 5 day trial, a Premium membership will automatically begin; and you will be charged $29.95 a month for a Premium Membership. You will not be notified of the charges. And the charges will continue even if your card expires. ) I never got the movie. b) After I read this forum, I called my bank, and was informed of my best course of action, if my intention is to prevent lilplay/Tsar Media from making unwanted charges to my debit card. The bank service representative's response was, that, 'after' the charges are discovered 'by me' I can call the bank to dispute the charges. If it is determined that I didn't authorize the charges, the bank will put my money back. c) Since Tsar Media only has my 'debit-card' number - if I don't want to be hassled with scrutinizing my checking account more frequently than I would otherwise - (for unwanted 'Premium Service' monthly fees) I can report my ATM/debit card as stolen; and the bank will issue me a new one in a week or so. This prevents them from getting anymore money from me in the form of an unexpected monthly subscription fee; whether in error or otherwise. They still have my $1. I know it's just a dollar. But the principle of it - and my annoyance at the deceptive marketing tactics (for a non-service) resulting in me replacing my debit card, to avoid their ruthless payment designs ( in the User Agreement, it's clear they will refund nothing, and that the burden of discovery is on everyone signing-up ) has motivated me to write about the experience with 'Tsar Media' in detail. And to see that my $1 returned as they stated they would in their User Agreement. My sister is an attorney, and I imagine Tsar Media has gotten money from more than just the people posting their experiences here. Even though I have a new debit card being issued, Tsar Media's release of the $1 hold they put on my account ( to supposedly validate my credit card, in the next 24 - 72 hours) , will register to my open checking. So, if they don't release the $1, it will be clear enough to me that they are not practicing business properly. Imagine, 100,000 people paying Tsar Media $1, for a service that doesn't provide the media content that originally led so many people to go through a time consuming process, that ultimately provides them with your credit card number and email. Not a good service for me. And apparently lots of others, who report not getting the media advertised, and losing money to card validation fees, cancellation processing fees, and repeat monthly fees for an unwanted reoccurring service. Tsar Media is a phishing service. Making money off lures, based on false claims, of content they don't actually have; and they brazenly post their ads and links where the most people can get entangled.

Absolute Scam! Illegal Movie Streaming (outdated films) & Books Illegally Offered, Huge Charges, Phishing, An Absolute Con! DON'T sign up & NEVER give your Credit Card details! Lilplay is Criminal & Pure Fraud! An absolute Scam aimed at taking your money illegally by 'requiring' your credit card details to "register" for an allegedly "free 5 day trial". The con is that these bastards move you onto a "Premium" membership after 5 days of signing up "for free" & will keep charging you $34.95 per month! They then have the arrogance to charge you $1 to cancel and $1 again each time you try to confirm Lilplay HAS cancelled your membership with them which they seem unable to do despite phoning and emailing them!  They take 3 days, at minimum, to cancel your account by email, a tactic that ensures you're moved to the "Premium" account and you suddenly find Lilplay taking money out of your account which you never authorised!  Even when I'd emailed Lilplay to cancel, they'd put me onto the "Premium" membership and the movies they offer are illegally streamed and so outdated it's ridiculous. Being charged $1 to Cancel is ridiculous and I found that they didn't cancel my account despite several emails to them. I ended up having to cancel my card to stop these scammers from taking money from my bank account.   Also, I'm an author and so was my late father. Lilplay steals books posted in other locations and ILLEGALLY sells "memberships" to access these STOLEN books to be downloaded (along with an eBook App which they don't tell you about either). Despite authors submitting complaints, DMCA notices etc., Lilplay continues to steal books indiscriminately to sell these "memberships"! It's criminal & I don't know why they haven't been shut down by Government Authorities.

While looking for a movie 'Daddy's Little Girls' my clicks took me to Youtube and Youtube showed a picture of this movies but you have to click on a link to get to it. But after click on that link it took me to Lilpay, and it offered 5 day free trial but I have to provide credit card info. After signing up I looked for that movie but LilPay don't have that movie on their website So I felt pretty scammed, and immediately looked to cancel, but couldn't find any where on the website to cancel. So I called their number, the automated voice wanted me to give my credit card number, when I did it said 'Your account is cancelled'. But didn't give me any confirmation, so I had a bad feeling about that cancellation. Then on the fifth day I went to check on that website and sure enough I wasn't cancelled so this time I was able to find a cancellation link. I went through and cancelled my account. But noticed that it was asking me to spend .99c for an express cancel, which I skipped. But after I cancelled the account I noticed that it said 'You account will be cancelled in 30 days' and noticed that I now have a Premium account. I immediately called the customer service and she said it was because I cancelled after 5 days so they automatically signed me up for a Premium account for $19.95. Unbelievable. It was a good thing I was paying attention, otherwise they would have forced me to pay for something that I never ever intend to use. As right now they have charged me $1 + $2,95 on my credit card and I have no idea what those charges are. Talk about sneaky, LilPay is about the sneakiest website I have ever come across. Buyer beware. I rather sigh up for Amazon's PrimeVideo which has more content and 30 days free trial and doesn't use any sneak attacks to hook you to their website. From now on I'll stay away from LilPay even if they improve on their content. They have lost my trust to ever use their website again.

I am an author and Lilplay is using mirror websites all redirecting to its main website, promising free downloads of my books on Lilplay. They do not have the necessary rights to sell my books, and I highly doubt they really have it in their database anyway. So, for anyone checking: The Spotless series by Camilla Monk is *not* available on Lilplay, and for the love of God, don't be silly and give them your credit card number, you'll only end up scammed!
