My Windows Vista virus problems began with a popup which was redirected to uncovertheweb.com. I sabotaged the redirect to uncovertheweb.com. The popup still occurs, though its behavior has changed. Without the ability to redirect the popup window simply closes after a short time.
I used the copy and paste procedure to get the initial web address on said popup. The format is always the same (though I abbreviated the very long random or encrypted data sequence as <DATA>):
"http://www.lnksdata.com/sc?p=<DATA>&t=1".I haven't rated
