Das soziale Engagement des 'Lions-Clubs halte ich für einen schlechten Witz. Ich weiss von einem Unternehmer im Lions-Club, der lieber hunderttausende Euro pro Jahr in einem Sportclub verpulvert, aber seinen Arbeitern nicht mal einen Cent Lohn(-erhöhung) gönnt. Und als die Arbeiter versuchten, eine Betriebsrat zu installieren, wurde eine ganze Abteilung reihum mit anderen Firmen ausgewechselt. Die "Aufrührer" blieben auf der Strecke. Das ist das Lions-Verständnis von "sozial".
