Listia people please note one thing, listia staff can steal read people's mail and email in listia.com. "TANSTAAFL" To enjoy freebies in listia, you have to get ready to write in mail things that does not even violate listia rules. if your mail writes listia bad things yes you are suspended next. bidding, too many people bid, when you put a bid that is highest that someone would bid over you at the last. I dont like it. Privacy Risks - listia staff can read your mail messages. be very careful when you message listia people. try ask them to write in facebook or email address if you want to write bad things on listia unwanted programs - ask peopel to paypal to get extra listia credits is enough to speak this adult content - lingerie, bra, under, panties, sexy thong, condoms, pregnant items. misleading claims - if someone have same shipping address we listia would see if the receiver are different person, truth - 2 listia member with same shipping address even if different receivers, both listia account are suspended. this is from my freinds and my real life experience in listia listia a lot of people dislike must have reasons. nobody would want to hate something without reasons. but listia misled people that if 2 account in listia use same shipping address they would check, but truth is they would suspend 2+ accounts with same house number already. if you and other listia member have same shipping address, they would not give you any chance.

Listia only inform people one IP can not have over one accounts but there is one rule that you would not know from listia. Listia did not inform people, that if 2 people use same shipping address in the saved shipping address, or when one person win items in auction. if they type address that someone in listia had, listia would put pending normally people think that pending may mean, oh they(staff) may approve when they online. but actually not. pending is the time listia catch otehr listia shipping address datas. to see if someone use the same address with you then they ban if 2 people or more use same one address in shipping add. listia? free play, I would say yes. if you need to pay money, like facebook. I dont suggest. unless you got lots of cash to spare or you wanna to "pay to be banned."

I don't know why people are saying this website is misleading and a scam. The fact that there are scammers on here is not listias fault, same with any other website. Yes, I have run into scammers but Listia is good at giving them the ban hammer as well as returning your credits. I have ALWAYS got my credits back during a scam. I've been using this site for almost a year to promote my jewelry making business, I've sold my jewelry that I can't sell on etsy on here along with a business card and coupon to my etsy page and it has brought in good revenue. Children who use this site need adult permission and supervision because if you run into a child selling stuff you'll more than likely not get it.

This site is excellent for the old fashioned bartering system. You do not pay for anything with money, paypal, or any other way for items you bid on. You earn credits by doing things. The only time money may be involved is for shipping costs. How great is this!

I was a member for about ten minutes, then cancelled. Listia apparently took my entire Facebook friends list and contacted them and sending them messages I wanted them to join! WTF! And then, months later I get emails from them telling me my friends are joining but "this friend did not join using your referral link or invitation" since I didn't send them a link?! WTF! Now get this! I tried to log in and cancel (thought I already did), it won't let me into their system since wrong password/user name, but NO link to send a reset! I tried to write and ask them to send me a reset link, but since I used the same email I registered with, their system wouldn't let me send them a message because I had to "log in first"! So I had to send the request with a different email address! my OPINION i that this site is just trying to get friend lists from facebook.

I tried to figure this site out but I just couldn't get comfortale enough to use it. These kind of sites can be scary and even dangerous if you dont get it. I felt I could make some mistakes and you never know when your putting yourself in a bad spot. decided I'd rather put things I dont love anymore but are still good at the curb with a free sign.

This website is good for trading your not wants for things you want. The only problem is them allowing sex toys and smoking items to be listed. They also need to employ a way for children to stay off of this website as I see many on a daily basis trying to scam people out of their credits to get things they see and want. Be careful of whom ya trade with that is not verified with little to no feedback. Always check their facebook link to see if they are of age to deal with (of age). Just like having safe sex so should you have safe auctioning experience! Other then the kids getting on this site and the scammers this site is a hoot.

If you sell things on this site, you end up losign money because when you charge free shipping on your item and buy something with the points you got from selling that item, you could just buy the item like on ebay without going throught this useless website. It took me a couple months to realize this, but I no longer use listia because of this.
