A well-establish official website that's been around for decades. Completely safe. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Libertarian Party is NEITHER conservative nor liberal nor centrist, as the libertarian philosophy does not fall on the one-dimensional spectrum. It is the opposite of authoritarianism, as libertarians promote peace and prosperity through minimal government, which means minimal to no taxation. Libertarians recognize that big, powerful governments tend to be corrupt and wasteful, and that individuals (adults in particular) thrive when they are free to make their own economic, personal and social decisions, as long as their actions do not infringe on the freedom of any other individual to do the same. A libertarian is someone who truly respects the individual rights of all others and expects to enjoy the same freedom. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Libertarian Party does not officially focus on one issue and does not strive to dictate to people how they should or should not behave. Some Libertarians are pro-mother ("pro-choice"), seeing abortion primarily as a woman's rights issue, while other Libertarians are pro-fetus ("pro-life"), seeing it as a matter of life and death to an unborn child. In other words, Libertarian views on abortion differ almost as widely as those among society in general. This site and organization are a literal pox upon American Goverment. They promote radically despicable and unsound ideas which in turn promote suffering, social problems and violence. i.e., abolishing the Internal Revenue Service and child-labor laws, etc. See: *****

This is the official website for the Libertarian Party in the United States. The content is, as to be expected, significantly biased in favor of Libertarianism, but aside from that the site seems safe and okay to use. Surprisingly, this site bashes Republicans in rather equal measure as they bash Democrats—which is rare among Libertarian sites, many of which are secretly Republican in nature but deviates in a few key issues from the GOP. Proceed with caution. The site is safe from what I can see, but it's heavily biased in favor of Libertarianism. As a result, this may not be suitable for children, since the content is very politically-charged and one-sided.

DJ, they are not pro-abortion, they do not have a stance on abortion. They are not pro-sexual immorality, but are against using the force of government to oppose sexual immorality. They are not pro-murder, they are actually more against murder than other parties because they are against the government committing acts of murder as well. They are pro-drug legalization, but that is because it is immoral to use force against someone who has not harmed another human being. They actually are the most morally conscience conservatives because they hold the government to the same standards as everyone else. The LP is the only party that makes all their members sign a statement say they will not use aggression.
