The unsubscribe links of the emails are up0.net, with registrant owner Lyris / ***** / lyris.com (http://who.is/whois/up0.net) Provides email rerouting service. If Lyris wants an excellent rating from me, have a new policy requirement for senders (e.g. autoinsurance.com, etc) to post a notification that ***** will be used to reroute their messages and will contain Lyris-owned unsubscribe domain names in the message.

I gave it a yellow rating because it both has a trustE seal and then later got flagged by trustE for poor privacy.

Lyris Inc. is a email marketing vendor. Nothing dangerous or underhanded is being done here.

Spamvertized STOOGE Site. Spam Distributors, Tracking & Redirection - Illegal Phishing/ID Theft Scams. - User beware. Do not become their next victim. - Site is associated with criminals by knowingly violating US Law. Violating the US CAN-SPAM Act by sending or have sent on their behalf UCE "Spam" to Non-Opt-In email accounts, violating Federal Law, which is a criminal act!

Arbeitet exzessiv mit Spammern zusammen oder ist selbst einer.

I've received some automated 'no reply' e-mails from their site after trying to unsubscribe from unsolicited (3rd party) e-mails. Since the (automated) response came from them I was angry with them initially, and complained in no uncertain words via their website. I got a prompt and friendly response from them, explaining this particular 3rd party was somehow using their domain name w/o consent. So not really their fault after all... Anyhow, as it turned out they are very friendly and correct folks at Lyris. So if you think they've harmed you somehow, get in contact and I'm sure they'll be more than willing to help you find out what's really going on...

Here is the confusion: The Legitimate software company is Lyris HQ, and their url is lyrishq.com. I looked them up on wikipedia. The spammer and malware site is simply lyris.com. Interestingly, while many have commented here on lyris.com, there are almost no comments under the legitimate lyrishq.com. so those of you raving about the legitimate Lyris HQ need to edit your comments under lyris.com and move them over to lyrishq.com.

Lyris is an exceptionally good quality company.

This is an excellent site and certainly do not send spam. They do practice what they preach.

Are you serious? Lyris is one of the most respected names online for as long as I can remember. What's probably happened is that scammers — USING LYRIS SOFTWARE — have ripped you off. It's like accusing Microsoft of criminal behaviour because a scammer site is hosted on a site built with FrontPage. Get a clue, please.

This is an excellent site and provides excellent services to the marketing community. The folks who have made bad comments are totally out of place and more than likely have it mixed up with some other site. If this service is to work properly then a moderator should check red marks because marking a company like this as being red is unfair and will lead to the breakdown and mistrust of this service itself.

It is a safe website

Many of these other comments are complete rubbish by clueless people. ***** is a software company that creates some of the world's best email list management and permission based email marketing software. I have been an extremely satisfied customer for over 12 years. This site is completely safe and legitimate.
