Is mackeeperapp.zeobit.com Safe?

Méfiez-vous de Mac Keeper. Je lis un commentaire positif : "This company (Mac Keeper) has been the victim of a malicious campaign against." Tous les commentaires positifs semblent d'ailleurs rédigés dans le même style, par la même personne, sans doute un employé de cette société :-( Si cela change après le 18 octobre, vous saurez pourquoi... Malheureusement, les autres commentaires défavorables traduisent exactement mon expérience aussi. J'ai chargé une version d'essai qui a trouvé des centaines de problèmes, en a "réparé" deux ou trois en ajoutant que pour réparer le reste de toute urgence, je devais acheter la version complète. Surpris et fort inquiet, avant de céder à la tentation d'acheter, j'ai été voir ce qu'en disait Internet. J'ai ainsi vu, presque par hasard, que Kapersky proposait une analyse gratuite. Mon iMac était parfaitement sain, MacKeeper m'avait déjà menti... J'ai aussitôt retiré l'application, mon compte, etc. Mais pendant des semaines, j'ai été bombardé de spams tous plus catastrophiques, je ne m'en rendais pas compte du danger que je courais et que mon ordinateur faisait courir à la planète entière. Il continue toujours à m'asperger de menaces régulièrement malgré mes mails. Contre ce harcèlement, je n'ai pu employer que la fonction "courrier indésirable". Bref, dès que vous le touchez, il ne vous lâche plus. Que faire ??

I've been a user of this software for one-and-a-half year, and I'm happy about it. A bit less with their support, but it's been better lately. On the other hand, I've never, ever seen a software developer that was so consistently under attack by competitors and/or by some racist angloid degenerates (the company's HQs are both in Kiev and in California, the developers are mostly Ukrainian) who have nothing better to do than plaster forums, discussion groups and, apparently, WOT too, with their lies and insults.

These developers use all kinds of shady tricks to get people to buy their software: faking reviews, buying domains similar to their competition and putting links to their software there, paying for pop-up and pop-under ads on many sites that can bypass some pop-up blockers, and more. They even tried to pay me for a good review after I posted a bad one on my own site! And if you install the software and then use their uninstaller to remove it, it will leave bits behind that will start pestering you to reinstall it!

I've been using Mackeeper, the fully functional version since I have had my new first mac, before that have been using PC, I used to always have more problems with more expensive programs, and very little customer service. I had one problem with mackeeper of updating mackeeper, was solved with live chat. I like my Mac, less time spent trying to correct things.

I'm writing about the Mackeeperrapp. My Mac Book Pro worked just fine till I stupidly downloaded that crap into something that DID NOT NEED IT!!! Thats why you buy a Mac in the first place! But now that I did....I'm paying a big price for it. My computer hasn't been quite the same. I don't know why we feel we HAVE to download crap into something that just doesn't need anything to be "fixed" and or make our Mac's run better when it has internal "stuff" that takes care of "most" of it......I even read up on Mackeeper BEFORE I did so just to make sure what I was doing was safe....I got fooled by the wording "Mac" I guess.

I have no clue what everyone is so negative about from a consumer point of view. I went ahead and purchased (one time, for life!) and have had my Mac cleaned up EVERY day. There are junk files that need cleaning off daily and MacKeeper makes sure everything else is running fine. 74,000+ FB likes aren't wrong!

I have been using MacKeeper for some months now. I find the application very good and the help contact is reliable. I use MacKeeper constantly to do jobs that I would not know how to do. It runs scans and then cleans out unwanted files and stuff, Also advises on updates and will go fetch them ALL on a single click. Some it will install and some you have to instal yourself. I have found this to be a most valuable tool for my MacBook and iMac.

This software is and for the 18 months I have owned it been very good. The trial software finds errors but yes you have to pay for the full version to get everything fixed. What a concept. It is not shareware it is trial ware. Great product. and reliable site.

Don't go to this site. Especially don't down load anything! This site is a Trojan Horse! It will wreck your system and you will possibly have to wipe your disk and install everything again! I believe, judging from all the horror stories on various web sites, these Zeobit (publishers of MacKeeper) people, from the Ukraine, are using credit card information fraudulently. If you don't believe me, Goggle MacKeeper and see all the websites and posts about people's terrible experiences. There are entire websites on how to uninstall and deal and fix your Mac after downloading this malware. Beware!

They advertise a fully functional trial version download. After successfully downloading the "fully functional trial version" the program scans your computer and finds hundreds of problems or errors. You then have the opportunity to run the "fully functional trial version" to fix or solve the many problems. However, the programs fixes only a small percentage of the "problems" it finds. It also simultaneously tells you your trial version has expired. Now in order to clean the majority of the problems the program found you must buy the application for $39.95 for a one year subscription. Blatant bait and switch and false advertising.

I agree. This website and company is fantastic. I have downloaded mac keeper and have been using it for the past 5 months. No issues whatsoever. The product works as advertised and is probably the best piece of software on my mac. I do not see what the problem is :/
