This organisation apparently uses other peoples' computer to collect website information (for free), which it then sells to its customers. At best unethical, but this is suspicious behaviour & I advise blocking the MJ12bot from crawling your website.

All SEO sites that use a robot to scan others have ethical issues, but this one takes the cake. Using a fake distributed search bot called Majestic-12, they have other people do their dirty work to keep their bandwidth costs down, and make it harder for people to block them. Thankfully people have built software that can help stop them. Do a search and install ZB Block on your website.
