Is malwarebytes.com Safe?

This service is causing false alarm to websites telling people this website is full of virus. But actually those sites are not. So people loose traffic due to this stupid company and then submit requests to them that unblock their site due to their stupid false alarm.

I recently downloaded Malwarebytes (hereforth, MWB) onto my laptop at the suggestion of a friend. Within minutes I noticed ads shwoing up on my screen. I have AdGuard to prevent ads, and came to believe that MWB was overriding my AdGuard. I uninstalled MWB and haven't had the problem since. Anyone else have a similar issue?
