My partner works for the Vegetarian Society and confirms this site is legit. I agree, it's probably disgruntled meat producers giving negative ratings to dissuade the curious from visiting. Shameless

The bad ratings are all false, probably by by anti-vegetarian nutters with nothing better to do than, well, be anti-vegetarian nutters. Sad. This site is safe.

I would imagine that this site has been given poor ratings by meat producers and sellers who do not like the idea of people not consuming their product one day a week.

I am just a casual user of the site, and I find it a bit strange that this site has received poor reviews. Since they don't sell anything the vendor reliability segment is N/A. The fact that the only thing on the site that could get a child in trouble is a few overly complicated recipes makes me laugh that it is listed as poor for child safety. Overall a good site, I wish it wasn't so Flash reliant, but it does not make them bad people. Informative site, with fairly middle of the road political agenda.
