Is meet.google.com Safe?

This Meet feature is heavily abused by spammers and scammers, and Google does NOTHING to prevent it. I suggest you to ignore and boycott it. Google must implement basic settings allowing people not to be bothered by spammers. It is easy. Just to start, Google could add a setting disabling sending any emails originated by someone not in the address book of the recipient. I repeat, it is very simple setting. But evil Google supports spammers and scammers and don't give you tools to protect yourself from their invasion into your life. Second, Google hides the identity of the sender, which is completely insane. You don't know who sent the invitation, a friend or a scammer. This makes Google a perfect shield for scammers. The only sane action in this circumstances is to disregard ALL the invitations. I blocked them all and moving away from this evil and stupid Google platform.
