Is mercent.com Safe?

I see a lot of reviews and poor scores for "ethical issues" and "spyware or adware" - as well as a very poor rating on "child safety". 1) Ethical Issues/Trustworthyness: Tracking a user's browsing on their website is not unethical, it's standard practice. In fact, based on the links, at the header of the page they offer a wealth of information, that if read, would prove that they are indeed a VERY ethical company, that are held very highly esteemed: See their links: What We Do | Our Platform | Why Mercent | News | Partners | Company | Learn - and the footer even more so, including there TOS and privacy policy. Contact info is clearly listed all over the website. 2) Vendor Reliability: Lastly, as a paying customer - they delivery on their promises, in our experience they have delivered more than promised. I would venture to say that with the amount of reviews that are negative in this category, a vast majority of them have never done business with Mercent. Thus, I don't understand why they simply didn't abstain from rating the particular category. 3) Privacy or Spyware???? - This site doesn't distribute any malicious content/spyware for one, and two, the privacy policy is CLEARLY labeled and available for your reading pleasure - look at the website footer on any page of the site: http://www.mercent.com/company-info/privacy-policy - They clearly state data collection and how it's used as well as cover all other standard privacy concerns. Lastly, they inform you of the Terms of Service whilst on their website: http://www.mercent.com/termsofservice - Where is the Privacy concern. 4) Child Safety: How on earth is mercent.com unsafe or inappropriate for a child? (outside the obvious fact that a child would not be seeking an internet advert. company to run marketing campaigns)
