Is moneymutual.com Safe?

Please can you tell me how to get to the Money Mutual site? I have been on here for three (3) hours and I still cannot get on there. Thank you very much. Fran

I did not have any problems with them. However, my mother kept getting checks for magazine subscriptions put through her checking account. We were told by the bank that Money Mutual in very fine print has, somewhere in their agreement that you allow them to share all info that you give them with anyone! That includes your account information. I think this is the same scam they used to do with Debit Visa's & MC's. Someone affiliated with Money Mutual uses your checking account number to create a check and use to subscribe you to magazines. According to Nevada Federal Credit Union it's usually a small amount that a lot of people don't notice, however they do it weekly! With the debit cards they would say it's an award program, but also has to do with magazine subscriptions. Also, because you agree to let them do this by agreeing to Money Mutual's contract, the bank doesn't have to refund you the money lost.

This type of payday lenders tend to charge outrageous interest rates - then they allow you to repeatedly rollover the loan - thereby running tremendous costs. These places should be run out of town and it's too bad Montel Williams is so desperate for a buck.

This site wants you to apply for a loan, which they'll not approve, but send you to credit card application links instead. If you try to go back to the loan app or to the 'contact us' button, it will not let you. You get sent back to the page with credit card app links. It's a vicious circle.
